1 Year Anniversary of Tad Talks Sustainability Podcast

In 2021, I decided that I wanted to start a podcast with my dad, Tad Radzinski. I bought an online course for $200, a microphone, and a cheap ring light. I found free software to edit audio and video.
I learned how to record and edit audio, clip videos, and create video and audio intros. I learned how to create show notes, how to choose a hosting platform, and submit our show to all podcast streaming platforms. I learned how to plan episodes with guests, make thumbnails for YouTube videos, and so much more.
This past year has been a HUGE learning curve, but it has also been one of the most special projects I have ever worked on because I get to host this podcast with my dad.
One of the biggest takeaways from our first year: even if you don't know what you are doing, just start. It doesn't have to be perfect and you will learn along the way. Starting a podcast was not a linear process, and it was far from perfect, but I will never regret just starting.
Now, we are so lucky to have a producer who edits our audio and video. Thank you to Jeremy Lieberman for all of your work and for putting together this beautiful video!
Special thank you to all of our guests this past year: Diana Smiciklas, Steve Alexander, Tim Faveri, Beth Greenlaw, Thomas Fecarotta, Andy Polk, Mike Noel, Sunny Reelhorn Parr, and Amy Musanti.
Finally, thank you to my awesome dad, Tad Radzinski, for being the best dad and co-host. Thank you for teaching me to love the earth and to have a passion for sustainability. Your wisdom and expertise is truly empowering positive global change. I love recording this podcast with you!
